The Golden Gate bridge is one of the most iconic spots in the United States, and is conveniently located an hour from my house! Most of the photos I take are on the Marin Headlands of San Francisco. They give you a great view of the city and the bridge. It is usually very foggy up in SF, but on the days I went to get some of these pictures it was sunny weather.

From the Marin Headlands, on a sunny day, you can see the city perfectly.

From the Marin Headlands you can also see Mt. Tamalpias state park on the opposite side from the bridge.

Although the Golden Gate can be a pretty basic tourist spot, it is still worth seeing, even if you live in the area!
